KUB EV Charger Rebate: Up to $400 Back for Knoxville Homeowners

Last verified: May 2026

KUB (Knoxville Utilities Board) offers residential customers a rebate of up to $400 for purchasing and installing a new Level 2 EV charger. You must own or lease an EV or plug-in hybrid, be a KUB residential customer, and submit the rebate form within 60 days of installation.

💡
Key difference from other utility programs: KUB does not require an ENERGY STAR certified charger. Any new Level 2 charger qualifies — including the Tesla Wall Connector and simple non-smart chargers like the Grizzl-E.
