KUB's Time of Use Rate: What Knoxville EV Owners Need to Know
KUB (Knoxville Utilities Board) used to offer a cash rebate for installing a Level 2 EV charger. That program has ended. What KUB offers now is a Time of Use rate for EV owners, a lower per-kWh price for charging overnight during off-peak hours. It's not a one-time check, it's ongoing savings for as long as you own the car.

Is My Neighborhood Served by KUB?
KUB serves Knoxville and parts of Knox, Anderson, Blount, Grainger, Jefferson, Loudon, Sevier, and Union counties. Most of the Knoxville metro is KUB territory. Farragut residents in Knox County are generally served by KUB. Lenoir City is served by LCUB, a different utility with potentially different programs.
The simplest check: look at your electricity bill. If it says "KUB" or "Knoxville Utilities Board," you're in.
